Senior/Lead Blender Artist
UPP Advertising is looking for a passionate 3D artist who is skilled with Blender for 3D environment designs using kitbashing, projections, and overpaints. Your work would be used in commercials, videogame trailers, and music videos.
This position requires an excellent eye for color, image composition, and cinematography, as well as a firm grasp on Blender, to be able to iterate quickly while producing good-looking results with some degree of stylization. An ability to do basic animation or simulations is a considerable plus.
We are on the lookout for candidates that will be able to work full-time and in-house in our award-winning studio located in beautiful Prague, Czechia.
Your skills and qualifications:
- 5+ years in VFX industry, preferably advertisement or other kind of fast-paced VFX production
- proven experience with Blender on a professional level
- an excellent eye for color and picture composition
- ability to communicate efficiently and respectfully with supervisors and team members
- reliability in assessing and meeting deadlines
Bonus points:
- Ambition to grow into, or readiness for a leadership role is highly valued
- Experience with other VFX disciplines, especially matte painting and concept art is a plus
- Working knowledge with other VFX software platforms is a plus (Maya, Houdini, Nuke)
