Digitally restored copy of Marketa Lazarova

On 2 July 2011, the 46th Karlovy Vary IFF will be holding the world premiere of the digitally restored copy of the most important Czech film in the country’s history – František Vláčil’s drama Marketa Lazarová.
The Ministry of Culture and the ČEZ Foundation funded the digital restoration of this movie and the technology behind the process of treating the film is secured by Universal Production Partners.

Václav Havel – Leaving

We are very proud that Vaclav Havel has chosen UPP in his first movie as a director. UPP delivered the entire picture postproduction requirements. We look forward to premiere at the end of March and wish him every success.

The Czech premiere of TETRO

Czech Republic welcomed the premiere of Francis Ford Coppola movie - Tetro. His most personal film yet arising from memories and emotions from his early life, though totally fictional. UPP is very proud to deliver the VFX part of this great storry!

Season of the Witch

UPP is very proud to have delivered VFX requirements for this movie. It was particularly satisfying to see the results of the rope bridge scene filmed on green screen, the fully CGI wolves in the attack scene and a lot of other visual effects.

UPP´s third EMMY nomination

We are delighted with our third Emmy nomination for our work on The Company TV Miniseries.

SONY produced miniseries tells the story the CIA´s involvement in the cold war. We recreated many historical time periods and events with Matt Painting, 2D Compostion and 3D animation including the attack in the Bay of pigs.

Our talented team will be waiting great anticipation in LA on the 13th September 2008 for the Emmy awards ceremony. We all have fingers crossed for them.
